Sahel App Streamlines Biometric Fingerprint Appointment Booking. The government integrated electronic services application, “Sahel,” has introduced a convenient feature allowing Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates to schedule appointments for their biometric fingerprints directly through the Sahel application.

Booking Process through Sahel Application

During a press statement, the official spokesperson, Kazem, outlined the simple process for users:

  1. Log in to the Sahel application.
  2. Navigate to the “Appointments” section.
  3. Select “Book an Appointment.”
  4. Choose the Ministry of Interior, then the General Administration of Criminal Evidence.
  5. Opt for “Biometric Fingerprint.”
  6. Select the preferred location.
  7. View available appointments for specific days and times.

Upon successful booking, users will receive a confirmation notification, along with a reminder to the “Kuwait Mobile ID” application or civil ID when arriving for the biometric fingerprint procedure.

Alignment with Ministry of Interior Directive:

Kazem emphasized that this service aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s directive, which mandates citizens and residents to undergo biometric fingerprinting within the next three months. This measure aims to prevent any disruptions in Ministry of Interior transactions.

Alternative Booking Method: Meta Website

For those who prefer an alternative method, appointments can also be booked through the Meta website. Below are the steps:

  1. Visit the Meta website here.
  2. Login to your account or register if you don’t have one.
