New Services Added to Sahel App. The Ministry of Interior has expanded the capabilities of the “Sahel” application, introducing two additional services to bolster its commitment to digital transformation, according to Al-Seyassah daily.

  1. Port Security Sector Movements Report

One of the newly introduced services involves the issuance of a detailed report on entry and exit movements within the port security sector. This certificate proves valuable for citizens requiring documentation for specific government services. For detailed entry and exit dates, users are directed to the central administration for entry and exit procedures.

  1. Debt Inquiry for Travelers

The second service enables individuals to inquire about debts owed by residents, providing information on the required amounts before heading to the airport for travel. This feature adds a layer of financial awareness for travelers using the Sahel app.

Commitment to Ongoing Digital Services

The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the ministry underscored its commitment to continually roll out electronic services through the “Sahel” application. The initiative aims to align with technological advancements in security establishment sectors, ultimately saving time and effort for users accessing these services.

Recent Electronic Service Launch

Yousef Kazem, the official spokesperson for the “Sahel” application, announced the recent launch of an electronic service by the Public Authority for Manpower. This service streamlines the process of obtaining a “To Whom It May Concern” certificate for the Ministry of Higher Education – Chapter Five through the Sahel app.

Streamlining Education Processes

The new service empowers individuals registered in “Chapter Five” to generate the required certificate directly through the Sahel application. This is particularly beneficial for those needing the certificate for studies or other purposes. Users must have previously submitted a request for study applications through the labor support transactions system on the Public Authority for Manpower website.

Commendation for Ongoing Efforts

Kazem commended the Public Authority for Manpower for its continuous efforts in introducing new electronic services through the unified government application for electronic services, “Sahel.” The collaborative efforts aim to enhance the overall user experience and streamline various government processes.
